As part of a special agreement with PC Answers, AimTech is pleased to present you with a free trial version of JambaTM for Windows 95/NT, our new JavaTM authoring software. AimTech is pleased to be part of the Java Programming for the Internet CD-ROM. Jamba is an object-oriented, visual authoring tool for creating interactive, media-rich Java applets, adding multimedia and interactivity to your Web site. The applets created with Jamba can be delivered on any Java supported platform using any Java supported browser with no plug-in required!
In developing Jamba, AimTech has adopted industry standards in all parts of the authoring and playback environment. For playback, Jamba uses the Java Virtual Machine, leveraging the advantages of Java. Jamba can be extended with native Java or JavaScript methods using Jamba's Java Extension Object. Advanced users can use Jamba as a way to quickly prototype and develop Java applets. Jamba's object model is the standard ActiveX Control, which allows AimTech to quickly and easily expand the capabilities of Jamba while allowing developers to customise and extend the product by creating their own ActiveX controls.
Once installed, the Jamba Trial version is valid for 30 days or 100 uses, whichever comes first. The expiration of the Jamba Trial version will not affect any of the applets created during the trial period. To access technical information on Jamba (Frequently Asked Questions, System Requirements, etc), go to AimTech's Technical Support Web site ╨ http://www.support.aimtech.com.
To order the complete, unrestricted version of Jamba with the printed users manual and thousands of clip media files (buttons, icons, tiled graphics, cycling graphics, audio), visit AimTech's Web site, http://www.aimtech.com/upgrade for ordering information. You will need to enter your special ╥PC Answers and Jamba╙ serial number ╨ JWTE-14712560.
